Posted - 27/06/2007 : 10:05:22 Oh dear ... you were in the thick of the downpours weren't you. How's the webbed feet doing and have you booked in for that gills transplant yet? |

Posted - 27/06/2007 : 10:00:03 Burning to a cinder is nice, it might even help me dry out after mondays downpour
Looking on the bright side though, a bridge a few hundred yards down the road from house collapsed in the rains and we have a traffic free road, which is nice. |

Posted - 27/06/2007 : 09:35:44 Friends are reporting severe water shortages in Bulgaria at the moment with some resevoirs drying up completely. Looking at temperatures (low 40's) over there though, i'd gladly pop over and do some work on the house for a couple of months. |

Posted - 26/06/2007 : 19:56:08 Aus and the US are in the middle of a massive drought too.
Still, the water that's fallen here has bound to have filled the reservoirs..
*falls about laughing*
Of course it hasn't! It will have been shunted straight into the sea, as we need low water levels and the water metering that will be introduced everywhere to conserve it (by making it more expensive). |
