I believe the case to remain silent was lost.
I do however strongly believe that if a camera takes a picture of a car speeding but does not gather enough evidence to convict the driver why should the registered owner automatically lose their right to remain silent?
Not only that but if they were not the driver why should they inform the police who was. They may not know and therefore to fnd out the have to also do more work for the police and investigate further.
Surely it is the job of the police to provide all necessary evidence?
