He had a few detractors here in Chicago as well. Seems a few last minute cancellations made some serious and powerful enemies here. Sad if his absence was because of the ailment though... |

I heard a couple of folks involved there who didn`t like the chap at all, but his talent was never disputed. And you can`t please everyone all the time. He had a nasty form of Cancer, I just hope his symptoms were well-controlled and that he didn`t suffer long. That`s all I could say for anyone however great or lowly, in those circumstances. |
