Posted - 11/10/2007 : 18:08:24 The Council has now got a listing of the hygiene standards at Brighton and Hove and Portslade eateries.
Asda gets no stars! nul points. You take your life in your own hands there.
Here is the listing, which can be variously searched. Hours of fun!

Posted - 16/10/2007 : 22:57:54 A low average hygiene score for Preston Street. Always thought it looked dodgy. Best avoided all round. |

Posted - 15/10/2007 : 16:42:52 I thought the eating section in the Albion pub in Church Road looked well dodgy - right by the bogs!
It gets one star, and that is generous.
Why are nursing homes and rest homes in the Council guide for eating standards? Can anybody turn up for tea? |

Posted - 11/10/2007 : 18:45:25 Only 69 premises so far have attained a 5 star rating including, would you Adam and Eve it, McD and BurgerKing and LTNS' beloved Starbucks but ... I am sad to say ... Greggs is not on this exalted list. Now that could well be because they haven't done take-aways yet however ... |

Roll on, one about take-aways... |
