not much point talking to the council as they dont listen anywayI am still waiting for a reply to my suggestion that "Homemove" caegorise thier bidding system by saying you can bid for x if you have say a class 1 disability ,y if you have a class 2 disability z if you have a class 3 etc etc,Oh and by the way if you have a class 1 disability we will give you the place of your choice but will keep you waiting for the keys so hopefully you kick the bucket before the movethat way they keep thier targets

Sneaky but I like it ...

Perhaps the answer is to ring up somebody - anybody - at the Council directly and when that is the wrong number, ask to be transferred and kept on the line until that's done. If enough peole do this, word will get around that the telephone system is insuffiently staffed.

Maybe the council should open a call centre in India.
You will get through ok.
Trouble will be you will not be able to understand what they are saying and even if you do leave a message it will get lost.

Just a moment, that sounds like the council offices anyway.

The council are very hard to contact by phone, the stacking system fills up as soon as the lines open at 9am so try ringing dead on 9am.
Or try sending a email plus one to their director of communications

What a load of tosh ... It is not the first time the Council's phone system has gone up the creek without a paddle. Nothing to do with New Labour elected or otherwise and certainly nothing to do with meetings. Simply a case of a not very good telephone system!

You must have missed the earlier post, the council were phone blocking due to these labour ordered meetings. So we can surmise that it went like this:

Gordon Brown picks up the unelected hotphone and calls brighton council, ordering them to have meetings.

Brighton council say "Mein gott! Another unelected newlabour gordon brown ordered meeting, who will answer the phones?"

Then someone says "Just block the phones!"

Meanwhile Mim is sat at home unable to order another recycle bin, and Gordon Brown chuckles to himself, sat on a leather chair rubbing his big unelected ballbag.

Has LTNS been hitting the pasties again?

What are these urgent Council meetings? Can LTNS specify them? And what does New Labour exactly have to do with any of them? After all, aren't the Conservatives in charge now (after a fashion) and so Labur's Gill Mitchell is always throwing a wobbly instead of convening urgent meetings?

As for this "nothing of the sought", what on earth is the object of this seeking? Although of course Brown is not to be trusted. But opposition to him must be a bit clearer than that.

Was it really that important to edit your phone blocking reference in your post? I mean really? We all know you have shit for brains, no amount of editing will change that.

Didn't admin say that posters had to be able to back up their claims or not post them?

Well that was a crock of shit wasn't it?

So to recap, the council are 'phone blocking' due to 'urgent meetings' as they are 'confused by new labour' and due to '5 tonnes of rubbish being dumped in sussex'

I would call LT mentally handicapped, but that would be insulting to mentally handicapped people.

And just take a look at todays Argus Local Front Page
Five Million tonnes of London's Rubbish
must be disposed in Sussex.

Emergency meetings on that
since the Newhaven Project is not on its way etc.

What exactly is this "truth" to which LTNS makes tantalising allusion?
