The Very Old Lib Dem leader is gone as leader.
That is a good thing.

Nick Clegg is the one that may take over.

Vince Cable
is now in charge until the new leader is elected.

The ID Card may be in or it may not be in
since we do not know when the Election will be.

He has confirmed on all New TV Stations and Radio stations
that he will Not have the ID card.

Clever move.

will scrap Scottish Brown's ID Cards.
Saving Billions.

Really? But ID cards may well be compulsory by then

Our decision to introduce a National Identity Scheme was announced in the Queen's Speech on 17 May 2005. The Identity Cards Act received royal assent, becoming law, on 30 March 2006.

We will introduce biometric residence permits for foreign nationals in 2008 and we expect the first ID cards to be issued to British citizens in 2009.

A future UK Parliamentary general election has not been listed, as a date for this cannot be verified until it is called by the Prime Minister. However, there must be a UK Parliamentary general election at least every five years, and the most recent one was on 5 May 2005.

From that Very List from TV and Radio News

Chris Huhne is the first to annouce his candidacy.

It is a good thing a Younger Leader can help
renew the party.
And it is bad news for Neo Conservative New Labour Brown
who never viewed Ming as a threat.

They were RADIO and TV NEWS lists
before any Papers were out.

Oh yes ... I have LTNS and what about you? Have you any views that do not involve cartoons or the spouting of unsubstantiated FACT or mistaking newspaper lists with the list of potential candidates?

Maybe because they do not have the same reverence for cartoons? Or maybe because they do not want to? Or maybe because they have grown up and left the crayons and colouring books in the nursery where they belong?

Menzies Interviews on Sky News
and Ch4News had great insight into why he had to go.
He said Instead of LibDem Policys
much of the Press would go on about how Old he was and how tired he was etc.
And of course he is still a good MP.

It was his own choice
and a good one at that.

Live wire has only just noticed this posting! And livewire is getting sick and tired of LTNS thinking he is absolved from observing rules which his behaviour has brought about.

You have an issue ... email admin!

Menzies Campbell going is fantastic news. He's nice as your grandpa but was hardly ever was Prime Minister material. Pissed Charlie was preferable.

Hopefully they can get some one more charismatic in who can attract attention.

Try posting your own cartoon. We are all capable of reading and looking at the Guardian ourselves without you posting Steve Bell's pictures. It's annoying.

Annoying as me talking about bicycles and then posting a picture of one, just in case anyone needs reminding what a bicycle is. You insult everyone's intelligence and do a fantastic job of diminishing the appearance of yours.

If that other thread has nothing to do with this thread, then BiH's cartoons have nothing to do with yours

Look at the Elm Grove Police Presence and then ask the question again! Actually it has nothing to do with that. BiH at least has some interesting viewpoints to impart. He doesn't just litter the place with cartoons.
