So close to the can't breathe in Brighton headline as well...

Congestion Charge Drawing Nearer (from The Argus)

I notice that the air by Churchill Square is bad as well, must be all those buses going by. If the council want a radical idea to stop congestion AND pollution why not ban visitors from using their cars in Brighton. Build some huge parking lots outside Brighton (under all the wind turbines should be ideal) and bus them in. Only residents with car badges would be allowed into the city, no tourists or day trippers clogging up the roads for us who live here...

Turton has gone quiet since May. He feels bruised, and is not at ease in the new New Labour set-up.

Ha ha so much for frenchies eco friendly buses.
Great forward thinking by a labour council to improve vehicle flow with their ad hoc ideas of build outs etc,to alow them to bring in congestion charging,by placing air sampling equipment in places they knew would become grid lock.
Did not the TURTON once state on the old argus forum there wiol not be congestion charging in this town?
