This link is also on a Nightowl Topic on National News,
It was featured on Local BBC TV News tonight.
It is also Front Page of todays local Argus paper.

From the Local TV report many old residents were very angry with the housing association
that lets the old residents down.
They had no idea a Dead Body was in that flat.
It has upset many of them.

if people understood what was being said they will realise the disgusting treatment by Sanctuary housing to the other tenants when they notified about the smell(Bishop Eric who was the patron of sanctuary as far as I have been told will be mortified if he is still about)

I find this so sad that a neighbour in such a close community like flats can disappear without anybody being more investigative than waiting for a plaque of flies and stench to infest the building before raising the alarm, and to the wrong people at that.
Neighbours should look out for each other and when they can find no good reason for the sudden disappearance should inform the police and council departments immediately.
Hope lessons have been learnt here but lets not shove all the blame on the housing association, each and every one of us has some responsibility for our neighbours well being.......

A lot to be said for a degree of caring for your fellow men and women. A bit of twitching curtain syndrome would not go amiss. What's wrong with keeping an eye out for your neighbour. And yes, I said an eye out for and not an eye out on!

Makes you wonder about the place, that people are not in some sort of touch with one another, and so blame it all on the Association.

A lot to be said for terraced housing. Makes for much more of a community.

Of course it is the fault of the Housing Association. That no one has bothered to raise the alarm because someone has not been seen for two months is something we needn't concern ourselves with. That neighbours went blithely about their own business without wondering whether the old man needed help ... no friends or acquaintances bothered to check if he was okay ... All that is by the by. But by all means let's get angry at the Housing Association!
