Of Course this Utter Fool
thinks there is a God.

He wants a debate
tomorrows papers will go Mad over this.
Let alone all the News stations Radio and TV.

The UK has some Jewish and Muslim law courts
as it is.

To want another New version
is crazy.

Most UK people will say if you want that sort of crazy type Law
then go to a strict Muslim nation for it.

It should be an interesting case indeed. Marriage by proxy are not recognised when undertaken in the UK. The sole exception being that where the marriage by proxy has taken part in a country where this is a legal form of matrimony, the UK will recognise the wedding as valid.

So here we have two issues. One, the fact that the marriage by proxy took place, in part in the UK - the groom being domiciled here. Two, the 'groom' being deemed as being incompetent to give his informed consent. One must assume therefore also that he is unable to enter into the 'contract' of matrimony while being aware of the nature of the 'contract' of matrimony.

The problem here is that the 'marriage by proxy' was deemed null and void on the grounds of the 'groom' not being able to give informed consent and it is this that the Judges are asked to adjudicate on.

Some times it is necessary to think things through before opening ones mouth, but the bishop has just dropped himself in trouble.
The lack of detail in what parts of Islamic law we should adopt is missing too
English law is the only law in this country, we can't have sub sections for Muslim, Catholic or any other religious groups.
Those that come to this country must do so excepting our law is supreme over all others.

And as for Williams the whole Nation (Except for you)wants him out

Also it is not about the amounts said

Has he a case? Are certain groups 'inbreeding'? According to certain evidence it could well be said that they are. If that is the case then that needs to be addressed for their sake as much as for their children's sake.

The fact that it cannot be addressed with sufficient rigour is thanks to the very polarised camps and due to people jumping on the 'Paki' 'Muslim' bandwagon, rather then seeing it for what it is which is a response brought about due to the isolation of this specific group (remember they also said largely from rural communities).

That is not the fault of New Labour or the Arch Bish nor Phil Woolas MP. It is down to hysterical elements in society.

Now I ask you again LTNS. Would you rather we ignored certain issues because it may make some people 'hot under the collar'? Would you have us pussy-foot around pretending that things aren't happening perhaps? So that later on, when they become too big to keep hidden you can go screeching for resignations because they weren't addressed earlier?

As for him stating 'inbred Muslims' ... well, all I have seen so far is a newspaper article. I haven't actually 'heard' anything. Maybe we should address the way it was 'headlined' rather then what was reported? As you quite rightly point out, it is not what is said but how it is said.

I know who started this thread LTNS and that is not under discussion. You complain on the one hand that individuals that address issues need to be removed from office because they bring sensitive issues to the fore and on the other hand that New Labour are hiding things. The Arch Bish was, if I am not mistaken appointed by a New Labour Government and as for Woolas, a New Labour MP ... you lambaste him for pouring oil on the fires and you say he has to go as well.

Do make your mind up LTNS ... either they are not saying enough or saying too much.

You know what I think is really sad? The fact that non of this has become part of the public discourse and that is probably because people were afraid that it would become yet another sledge hammer in the 'Paki' bashing that certain elements of our society seem to delight in so much.
