No surprises there, then.

There was a giant waterfight like this organized in Leeds on Facebook. Teenages started throwing buckets of water at cars with open windows and convertibles. It soon got out of control with cars swerving in the road to avoid it.

I should imagine that quite quickly this pie fight would become an excuse for teenagers to go around causing trouble.

LT, you do know that by writing '€urope' you're actually writing the word eurourope?

WTF is a eurourope?

Answers on a pasty to the usual address...

Yes Crazy €uro Laws.

We should get out of €urope
because New Labour have burnt all Our money.

It has not been cancelled ... it has been postponed and that was because of the sheer numbers that signed up to it!

It begins.

The government could have easily mitigated the effects by freezing the duty on alcohol sold in pubs and increasing the duty on alcohol sold in supermarkets.

Would also help to stop the sale discounted cheap booze in place's like tesco's where you can get larger that is cheaper per litre than some bottled water or fizzy pop.

Sounds daft, ok, but, when there`s a bunch of youngsters and they have to go outside (to a sheltered area) for a fag, the non-smokers are left like Billy No Mates to keep the seats inside, twiddle thumbs and get bored... and go join the smokers. Doesn`t seem to be working so well, does it?

Surley this depends how many of your group are made up of smokers and non-smokers. If there is only one smoker than they are the billy no mates outside in the cold and rain. Whilst the non-smokers can carry on their conversation in the nice warm pub with a drink.

That was always on the cards Fluffy ...

Well Liverpool is the European cultural capital of 2008, so perhaps it's getting carried away with celebrating the great facist traditions of Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
Miriam Binder Posted - 16/03/2008 : 07:24:34
More absurdity from the anti-smoking lot. Apart from anything else, some great classics would fall by the way side.

LTNS, we know you want to persecute smokers but the punishment for allowing smoking on your premises is a fine, not prison.

Update the Health Laws.
Lock the Stinking Criminal Rotten Smoker Up.

Sign Of The Times.

As much as I don't like smoking watching this chap on the news I got a real sense of an ordinary bloke standing up to authority and going no "sod you lot I’m doing what I bloody well like"

It can't help but tug the heart strings of my anarchist tendencies.
