Or they click it
can not get in
and the Numbers Goes Up.

Life In The City.

No ... numbers only go up when the page is opened

The mega thread was in hailing distance of 2000 posts...
livewire Posted - 08/04/2008 : 18:02:04
Consider it done. As for splitting it, I will see what can be done but do not hold out much hope.
Infinite Poppadum Posted - 08/04/2008 : 17:57:27
Yes, well, the mega Greggs thread should at least be a sticky, a monument to collaborative effort.
long time no see Posted - 08/04/2008 : 16:37:40
It means it stays on the very top all the time.
(Look at the very first thread by livewire on this Local News section)
But since it is a over full thread (which is hard to enter)
that makes no sense.
Infinite Poppadum Posted - 08/04/2008 : 16:19:41
What is a sticky topic?

anyway, look how these two Greggs topics thrive. There is clearly a pent-up demand for the mega one. It cannot be airbrushed from history.
Miriam Binder Posted - 08/04/2008 : 13:34:55
We could ask Admin to make it a sticky topic
Infinite Poppadum Posted - 08/04/2008 : 12:37:54
How can the mega Greggs thread be kept in view?
Infinite Poppadum Posted - 07/04/2008 : 16:58:49
I agree.

It's important to get the apostrophe right.

There is a difference between

It's breeding

and

Its breeding.

The first one suggests that a creature is in the process of producing more creatures.

The second one - possessive - is about the quality of the creature if breeding is a noun; and also if it is an adjective:

Its breeding habits.

THREE FACTS

Sorry about this ... I don't usually bother with LTNS as he's barking mad anyway.

I think that the posters have decided for themselves which Gregg thread to go on

Now that might be interesting
Daveb Posted - 07/04/2008 : 13:29:28
You may face a Negative Reality Inversion.

This combined with the effects of pasty filling should the threads cross would cause a rupture in the temporal fabric of the time continuim!

In other words, no.
Infinite Poppadum Posted - 07/04/2008 : 09:58:52
If the technological people can make the original Greggs thread into two threads, that means the material is readily available, and the later one of them can continue.

It is sometimes necessary to refer to such matters as the part played by the Traveling Wilburys in the Greggs saga.

I think LTNS has other ideas.
