An RAF Chinook costs £15,000 an hour to run

The Middleton family home is 16 miles away
from RAF Odiham and the prince landed
the Chinook in the field at the back of the house

William and Kate met each other at university

I suppose he thought no one would notice?
but this 30k is abuse of power.
It is not his Right
to change any route
to get his Leg Over.

He should get his Over Rich Grand Mother
to give the Army Wounded in the UK a Million Pounds
of her Private funds to show he is not so dumb.

Oh come on if a prince wants to fly a massive helecopter to impress his girlfriend and get a shag out of it then shouldn't he be allowed too?

Borninhove Posted - 21/04/2008 : 12:28:24
Press ganged? To be honest, the way I added him to the picture he looks more decapitated than anything else.

Helicopter pilots are a very much needed commodity in the British armed forces, being able to land close to obstacles is very difficult so fair play to hom if he can kill to birds with one stone(or have a bit of hows your father)

That site is used for the Great Photos, second to none.

Well, someone's got to do it, I suppose.

By the way, you are up bright and early this morning, Miriam.

It's important for our pilots to get all the training they can. Landing amongst a bunch of drunk hoorays armed with champers bottles can be as hairy as touching down under the AKs of Terry Taliban to airlift a couple of wounded paras to safety. Well done, Wills! Keep up the good work.

By the way, is it me, or does LTNS seems especially Yoda-ish today?

If they are unable to exercise their authority appropriately then maybe they should not be in their job. Him being a royal may have everything to do with the story being printed in the DM but should have no bearing on how his instructors deal with him.

Rightly or wrongly

After the plan was approved by his instructors, the prince flew the 16 miles to Miss Middleton's family home where he completed one circuit of the field at the back of her parents' million-pound house and practised landing and taking off in their paddock.

If you have an issue, take it up with his instructors!
