Greggs are now open on London Road. 83p will get you a quality tetley tea.
It is next door to the Sony shop.
Also Somerfields have a better store now more room new layout, and better tills set up.
The CEO of Greggs was on the Radio 4 Money Programme, the other week he is aware of food prices going up but he is also aware Greggs offers great value.
He can see some other firms folding due to their massive debts pulling them down.
Meanwhile Greggs is expanding.

Posted - 21/06/2008 : 20:10:09 Such a long time since I have seen a 80p cup of tea. The typos (cat included) have gone off with the Arabian blend and the clouds obscure the moon. I can no longer see the panel that controls and I have run out of poppudums!

LTNS's finest hour -or, rather, hours. National newspapers would be envious.
I think, in memory, I'll go and listen to The Traveling Wilburys.
I don't feel like commenting at the moment. |

Yes, it's a Northern stronghold for Gregs. where people value the food and their late night opening.

Posted - 03/06/2008 : 22:45:26 There are reports that Obama has clinched the Democrats nomination and that Hillary Clinton has offered to be running mate.
What effect will this have upon that other subject of international concern, the state of Greggs the Baker in London Road, Brighton?
So far as I know, neither candidate has mentioned the subject. Onbiously so hot a topic (unlike the pasties) they they dare not risk saying the wrong thing, and have kept quiet. |

No.
How curmudgeonly of LTNS not to accord Yves Saint-Laurent's memory some respect - especially as there will be the official announcement soon that, although reclusive in later years, the designer anonymously reworked the staff uniforms |
