Posted - 19/05/2008 : 09:25:50 There was a giant waterfight like this organized in Leeds on Facebook. Teenages started throwing buckets of water at cars with open windows and convertibles. It soon got out of control with cars swerving in the road to avoid it.
I should imagine that quite quickly this pie fight would become an excuse for teenagers to go around causing trouble. |

Pie Fight Brighton - promoted through the Facebook social networking sight - was to have taken place on Saturday (May 24).
Yes Crazy €uro Laws.
We should get out of €urope because New Labour have burnt all Our money.
It has not been cancelled ... it has been postponed and that was because of the sheer numbers that signed up to it! |

It begins.
The government could have easily mitigated the effects by freezing the duty on alcohol sold in pubs and increasing the duty on alcohol sold in supermarkets.
Would also help to stop the sale discounted cheap booze in place's like tesco's where you can get larger that is cheaper per litre than some bottled water or fizzy pop.

I am told by a couple of young colleagues, that non-smokers are actually being encouraged to take up smoking by the smoking ban in pubs. Sounds daft, ok, but, when there`s a bunch of youngsters and they have to go outside (to a sheltered area) for a fag, the non-smokers are left like Billy No Mates to keep the seats inside, twiddle thumbs and get bored... and go join the smokers. Doesn`t seem to be working so well, does it?
Surley this depends how many of your group are made up of smokers and non-smokers. If there is only one smoker than they are the billy no mates outside in the cold and rain. Whilst the non-smokers can carry on their conversation in the nice warm pub with a drink. |

It can't help but tug the heart strings of my anarchist tendencies.
