look in the school files and see who said teacher has pissed off recently.when I was at school on leaving day we got rolls and rolls of pink loo roll and wrapped it round Maurice Franks car(he was a sadistical bastard of a head teacher)put little pink bows on it and then posted his wife some pictures of him kissing the science teacher in the store room(science teacher being male also)ok it was a bit naughty of us(I did not know the pictures existed until after the fact)needless to say he resigned got divorced and at least 3 generations of kids did not have to suffer his sadistical mind |

Yes, what's a few fingers and eyes ... my sister the ER nurse becomes almost violent if we set them off when she is around. She has stories to support her views... but if we outlaw fireworks, only criminals will have fireworks. (actually, for the most part, they are outlawed where I live. Which makes me, Hmmm...).
On a more serious note, this incident is horrible. What could be a motive for such an act? This wasn't children or teens pulling a prank according to the above. |

If it was the sole reason for banning fireworks I'd be tempted to agree with you that it isn't reason enough. |

A possible alternative would be to NOT BAN fireworks per se but instead to apprehend, try and on conviction imprison the odd miscreant that illegally transforms fireworks into bombs ?
