Some hospital food is abysmal and at times uneatable, isn't it time we considered paying towards the cost as patients than always expecting it to be free?

£2.40 to feed a patient for a day!
What on earth can they do with that budget, definitely needs some re thinking here on how to finance it......

Yum, May I have you pudding...

Food quality is always a very subjective issue. The airlines here in the US have always been the brunt of the jokes until they stopped offering food. Even when they went out of their way to provide quality and quantity to the flying public, there were complaints. Hospitals were a close second when it came to jokes.

Preparing healthy food for the masses is not an easy thing...everyone has their own opinion on how spicy a dish should be, flavours that should be present (or not), and the size of the portions. If you step back and think about, MacDonald’s is the leading provider of food to the public BECAUSE they have researched what the public likes to taste in food...even if consuming it eventually puts the consumer in a position to sample hospital food
