Jack Straw claims to not know anything about this.
But what does this tell Muslims in the UK?
MP's were told they could not be bugged. Corrupt New Labour will have to blame MI5. And even worse the Tape would be for the CIA Americans.

There has to be
There has to be ... that's all really. Do you think that it may be possible for someone who is involved in criminal activities in one part to know others who are involved in similar activities elsewhere?

Posted - 05/02/2008 : 20:26:03 Lt it does not matter that an mp was bugged the media are making a mockery out of this adding fuel to disgruntled Muslims, It is not as if a bug was placed specifically to record the Mp it was there to record a terrorist suspect SO EVERYONE CALM DOWN |

Posted - 05/02/2008 : 19:55:51 What Matters Miriam is the Fact the Muslim MP knew nothing about this. And the way they permitted that Former Officers name to be leaked making him angry. He said on the News he did not want to tape the MP but was told to follow orders (CIA Fucking Orders)
And Brown knew all along but first said he did not?
He was being bugged for the Americans and that matters as well. |

Posted - 05/02/2008 : 19:51:08 Was the bug placed there specifically to listen in on the conversation this MP was having with his constituent or was it a case of all the conversations this 'terror suspect' was having with outside visitors were being bugged and one of them just happened to be his MP? |

Posted - 04/02/2008 : 07:45:59 It's not law, LTNS. The times article you linked to refers to it as an 'edict' . The BBC news site says this:
'However, a code known as the Wilson Doctrine forbids the covert recording of conversations between MPs and their constituents.'
From: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7225556.stm
The wikipedia entry calls it a 'pledge' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilson_Doctrine)
It is, in effect, a promise made by Harold Wilson back in '66, that such conversations would not be bugged. It never has been a law.
No law has been broken. If this turns out to be true, no-one will be prosecuted.

MP`s are as prone to corruption as anyone else, if not more so. They might be bugged for their own protection, too! Who is daft enough to say they should be promised they will not be bugged? If they are all above board they shouldn`t find a problem with this.
It is a Pledge

Miriam everyone knows it was Wilson 1966. But on UK News and UK Radio News they said Blair promised to keep that. But since you have no News why should anyone care what you get confused over.
Blair has no business promising to uphold. It is his duty as PM to uphold. Even so, this did not happen during Blair's watch LTNS so get yourself another scapegoat.
As for my not getting the News. Do you seriously believe that television is the only way to get the news? Is that the only way you get your news? |

I am not the one getting het up about the fact that Blair promised not to bug MPs LTNS. I know that it was Howard that did that back in 1966.

This MP was Not told he was being taped.
New Labour Blair Promised no MP's will be recorded.
Nightowl the Fucking CIA should not have the right to Bug any UK MP. Of course they used MI5.
Do you not understand what this means?
The New Labour Team are working 24/7 to try to get this covered up. But it is too late now.
Will you all just calm down for crying out loud. And no LTNS, the bugging of MPs or rather the non-bugging of MPs has been in place since the Howard years back in 1966 so this one is not down to Blair or Brown or New Labour. So do get your facts straight! |
