What do we do with these militant elements in our society, do we send them to prison or just repatriate them?
They will never fit into our society......

Berk, McPhail and Smelser wrote some interesting things about 'mob' behaviour.

We all say things in the heat of the moment. Having said that, the whole post Danish cartoon period was a bit of madness. Okay they were found guilty and will do their time but I think it is a long way between chanting about wanting another 9/11 here there and everywhere and actually going out and causing another 9/11 ... I also think that in the main, those that shout about it are very unlikely to do anything to actively bring it about.

The 24-year-old web designer of Bangladeshi origin chanted to the crowd: "Oh Allah, we want to see another 9/11 in Iraq, another 9/11 in Denmark, another 9/11 in Spain, in France, all over Europe. Oh Allah, destroy all of them."

It's really niced to loved. Praying for God to destroy God's creations seems a bit off. Destroying God's creations whilst doing "God's work" is even farther off, IMHO. Do people who says these things really mean them, or are they just so p****d off that blurt out anything that seems damning to those they blame for the evils in their world?
