OK read this and thought "there must have be such a survey in Brighton/Hove". Any nominees?

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Philadelphia is home to the least attractive people in the United States, a survey of visitors and residents showed on Friday.

The city of more than 1.5 million people was also found to be among the least stylish, least active, least friendly and least worldly, according to the "America's Favorite Cities" survey by Travel & Leisure magazine and CNN Headline News

So basically you are saying that this certain gene pool only has a shallow end...........
A sort of little plastic gene pool.......

There`s a certain village between here and the coast, (I`m not going to name it, it`d be unkind - and unfair to it`s many `normal-ish` residents!) but it has a certain reputation that is not unfounded. The Welsh equivalent of Redneck country. It comes within the catchment area of our hospital, and when we get a patient in from this village...well, you can often spot their visitors a mile off. It has to be something to do with the gene pool, anyone with some `get-up-and-go` got up and went - leaving behind a rural community where folks didn`t marry outside the parish... It`s a beautiful place, though, and many outsiders moved in, did up derelict property there very nicely, and participated in all the activities that `make` a community. But they don`t seem to have blended in to the gene pool - or rather, the place now seems to have two very distinct gene pools. This is probably down to the fact that one lot, mostly fair/sandy-haired, and not `ugly` by any standards, still use Welsh as their first language, and the incomers don`t, though many do sign up to classes to learn the language. It seems that`s enough, even in this day and age, to explain the situation.

Ever been to the Isle of Sheppy?

The police finger print equipment allows for three thumbs on each hand.

In the UK? Grimsby, end of story. Lowest wages in the UK help their already weak gene pool become weaker, paler and even more ugly!

A survey of visitors AND RESIDENTS..Even the people who live there don't like it? I dread to think what the local guidebooks are like then.
