This is a Link to the Old Mega thread
page 21 - that was the lucky number that let me in.

Greggs are now open on London Road.
83p will get you a quality fairtrade or tetley tea.

It is next door to the Sony shop.

Also Somerfields have a better store now more room
new layout,
and better tills set up.

The CEO of Greggs was on the Radio 4 Money Programme,
the other week
he is aware of food prices going up but he is also aware
Greggs offers great value.

He can see some other firms folding
due to their massive debts pulling them down.

Meanwhile Greggs is expanding.

Why a new Greggs' topic? What was wrong with the old one?

The technical people should split the old Greggs into two and then the latter half of that one can continue with reference to recent items there.

It is a historic document of life in the city.

Only those familiar with the old Greggs topic will realise thatm Beijing-style, history has been rewritten, and that, not so long ago, Greggs's tea was 70p...

The link "timed out", 21 was not the key to the Greggs door.

So I think that the technical people should make the megaTopic into two topics of 30 pages so that this historical document is not lost to posterity.

Congratulations on the new Greggs thread. Is it the 1st Anniversary of the old one ? Amazing how it has become part of the forum community. Will we be reading about 'new Greggs thread' in the Argus ?

I wonder if Greggs, and its Chairman Sir Michael Darrington, ever consulted the epic thread?

They would find it easier to do so if it were made into two thirty-page sections and unlocked.

Topics do not need chastity belts.

Edited to say, that he tells me he bought two boxes last week

I have just got through to page one of the mega topic Greggs.

But what happens when it falls off the first or second page because people are not able to post on it? It will be like a spacecraft wafting out of sight across the universe.

It should be unlocked and made into two Greggs topics. The first could be locked, and people would post on the second But that would still mean the first disappears...

LTNS ignores Miriam's offer of decent tea

Oh no LT! Now everyone will know we drink bargain Tetley in our house, instead of the more upmarket Twinings. On the shame

This is all nonsense. People here need Taylors of Harrogate tea, the version for hard-water areas.

Better flavour means better value. It is loose as well.
