I cannot promise that I'll get all of it but I'll try.
Attempting to transfer the thread in its entirety would mean hacking into the forums and as I don’t know how to do that, I thought the next best thing is to recreate the thread.
I apologise in advance to any and all posters who think I may have taken a liberty with their intellectual property … I have done my utmost to ensure that all posters are acknowledged. If I have inadvertently missed anyone out, please feel free to contact me and I shall put matters right.
Just one word of warning ... not all the links work but then, not all the links work on the original thread either.

The Pavarotti and northern kittens animations are particularly good - but most of the stuff on this site is worth a look.

There are a couple of other amusing ones on that site, if you can get them to work. A lot of them you click on and they just sit there and look at you in a blank kinda way....

We have just been informed that our buyer has a dog, which is against the terms of the lease...........
So anyway, back on the market it's gone, and back to people coming round poking through your cupboards.

These anti-pet clauses in leases are evil and should be tested under human rights legislation. My pets are 'illegal' under my lease, which is an affront to my rights as a human being and my pets rights to live a comfortable and spoilt lifestyle. I have to take extraordinary steps if the managing agents ever want to visit, which occasionally they do given my (uncontrollable) habit of complaining!
Let's face it, these leases were created a century ago in many cases (mine rather prissily prohibits me from hanging washing out on a balcony, as well as the usual moral clauses about lewd or salacious or seditious behaviour or gatherings etc etc) and someone with a powerful stereo, fondness of loud music and a selfish nature - ie about half the population under 30 living in flats - is a LOT more disruptive than someone aged over 30 with a cat or a budgie or a goldfish. I agree that fella in New York went too far for everyones good, and was cruel and rightly stopped from keeping his tiger and alligator in his flat. But my situation is not like that, nor that of many others forced into virtual criminality in their own homes because of these draconian and inhuman regulations.

Never mind all that.
We went out earlier, and a squirrel climbed in and shat all over the place and nicked some (hazelnut) chocolates.
