Agreed, the man condemns himself with his utter ignorance of the human race and its development through history........ |

The programme was the crudest and most blatant manipulation by the media (i.e. the BBC) that I have seen in recent years. In a small and insignificant way, I have been very active in the political arena for more than half a century .... whatever temporal allegiances I have had during those years, often mistaken (even gullible), whether running as a candidate for the forgotten and discredited old Communist Party or campaigning for libertarian solidarity and anarchism, I have always consistently battled against the far right, the fascists and Griffin types .... but have always fought for 'free speech' for everyone, irrespective of how odious I thought their ideas to be.
As was apparent at the viewing and has now been backed up by numerous testimonies scattered throughout the press, it was a hand-picked audience (contrary to what the BBC claims, members of the audience were approached by the BBC two days before the broadcast and invited to come with their provocative questions) and only Griffin did not know in advance that the evening would not be centred on a wide variety of topics where each panel member might express their own or their party's viewpoint -- instead it was aimed at a personal attack on Griffin.
The reason for this disgusting charade is only now apparent. What the panel members genuinely feared was that in certain 'sensitive' areas (like immigration, Islamic extremism and invading foreign countries without justification) the views of Griffin would have embarrassed the other parties represented who have consistently failed to address these topics and offer satisfactory policies. Hence, it was VITAL to PREVENT debate -- and replace it with a personal attack on the BNP leader. (That the attacks were most frequently justified is quite beside the point!)
From wherever one sits, politically, the real exposure of absolute shallowness came from the pathetic contributions made by Justice Secretary, Jack Straw. And this is the creature heading British 'legality'. From every angle -- absolutely shameful. |

| I always thought thet there was a bit of jiggery-pokey regarding this show, and now it seems I was right. I cannot understand what prompted the BBC to involve itself in such tactics. Dark forces at work??????? |

Yesterday on SkyNews they Reported the YouGov/Telegrapgh poll of the BNP going up by 20% due to that BBC show.
But BBCNews TV did not carry that news at all, which is very typical . |

| There was a vote taken in one of the National newspapers - not sure which one now - where the BNP was favourably viewed in the ratio of approximately 2 to 1. That seems to say something. |
