The View From the New Tower
will be Bliss.

Portslade, Newhaven, Moulescoomb - yes, it will be the most magnificent vista this side of Florence.

I think that the Post Office tower had a good viewing gallery at one time. Try to get there now though....

Brilliant. Because thats what that really needs doesn't it?

Lets see whats within less than 1 mile of the proposed Waitrose and large housing development:

Hollingdean WTS (all those extra HGV's)
Sainsburys
BP / M&S
Currys, Comet, B&Q etc
Several new blocks of flats
Some of the most congested roads in Brighton with the worst air quality.

Yes, another large supermarket and large housing development is exactly what is needed there. Again, as with other developments proposals - where is the supporting improvements to the infrastructure? Short term gain....

Without Supermarket Funding
it does not get going.

Just like Brighton Station
had to have Sainsburys involved.

The MEGA Waitrose will house the new flats.
This is a new concept in capturing your market.
Build the flats in the MEGAmarket.

No need for cars everything you need just outside the door.

Schools and skateparks provided!

Page 9 of todays Argus
has a good report
on the many Young Families that will move to the New Marina
they expect 3,200 new residents.

That will make Walmart happy.

That was closed because the powers that be reckoned that the demographic forecasts indicated that there would be a decline in the number of secondary school age children in Brighton & Hove. CoMart was elected as being the worst secondary school in BHC.

I suppose they can always bus them all over the city

Life In The City.

Really? Will they need to be bar-coded to ensure that only the 'local' children play there? Or will it be a case of if you spend £x.- on a given shopping trip your child will get a voucher towards a play session at the Private Mini Park area ... 12 vouchers amounting to a whole session

Which is fairly standard practise with children's play areas now adays. And it doesn't of course answer the question I posed. Hay hop!
