Actually, I`m ashamed to admit I DID have a go the other day. And I was quite enjoying myself, until I got to one of those `Bomb` ones. I think it was 63. Anyway, I worked out what to do but no way could I ever keep clicking the mouse fast enough, I`d got `killed umpteen times and started again, it gets quicker and quicker, but really, no way I`d ever get past that one. I enlisted my son`s help, he could do it. Trouble was, he instantly got hooked in, and tried to take over, so we ended up in a joint effort through a few more, pooling our wits...getting killed a few times, but he`d have to do the `63` laser bomb clicking...got as far as 68 or 69, by which time we were losing patience with ourselves, each other, and this Exquisitely Annoying bloody game - but don`t let me put you off!
It`s a rare thing for me to spend time on stuff like this, I prefer cryptic crosswords.
I couldn`t get past that one level, due to my evident lack of digital dexterity, but what REALLY annoyed me most was that I`d got 3 lives left when I got to that one (after several times having to start again, that is) but all THREE lives go when the bomb goes off. I just don`t think that`s Fair - so I`m not playing nomore, Nyer!!! :}

Fluffy - I haven't done a cryptic crossword for ages but have really enjoyed them over time - perhaps we could swap particularly good clues as we come across them? This has been a reminder for me and I will look at newspapers over the next few days to find one that suits my (probably weak) abilitities! I haven't looked at this quiz since my last post, but am about to and will let all know how I get on... if you got to 63 straight off, then you are an absolute genius!

Maybe I was just having a good day, NM, but I`m certainly no genius!
Anyway, unless you can click a mouse ultra-super-fast on 63 there`s no getting any further with it....
Cryptic crossword clues are the same, some days it All Makes Sense, other days it may as well be printed in Swahili - I think it all depends on my state of mind, stress & perception levels at the time. I have days at work when I`m multi-tasking, `plate-spinning`, and I can just sail through it all, then other days when I have to struggle to stay focussed, even if there are fewer plates to spin.
I don`t know if you`re old enough to remember the old ZX Spectrum...Chequered Flag racing car game. Even in those days, I`d have days where I`d be on a roll, beat everyone else`s lap times ...and days when I`d consistently just crash and die on the first bend!
