Yes, but what about the loose tea? It is becoming increasingly difficult to find bt it makes a better brew.

Can't see Mr Gregg putting up the price of his tea just yet.

This site recommends Greggs as a New Buy for shares.

How many does LTNS have?

Perhaps shareholders do not eat there - just as none of those Marks and Spencer directors was wearing its suits at that famous meeting.

It is a chain store, not a local store, and so has to be seen as part of the bigger picture.

That sentence remains the same despite the emphases; it does not address the point about Greggs being a chain which has to satisfy shareholders, and so your post is not part of an argument it is just gainsaying.

Here is a report by a vegetarian who had an unfortunate Greggs experience.

One thing's for sure, when the subject is tea, there is nobody like LTNS for stirring it up.

This goes beyond human error ... cross contamination is a very serious issue in food preparation.

This is the most sensational thing since the Fall of Man: LTNS admits that Greggs is less than perfect.

Cast your eyes to the top of the page, LTNS, and there you will see the phrase "discussion, banter, and exchange of ideas".

The reference to Eden was intended, in its way, as a form of the middle one.

Mrs Poppadum takes amiss your suggestion that she has chosen less than wisely in the life-partnet stakes.

But doesn't it all fall off when you change sides? No, I can't see tea being a very good substitute for sun oil.

They certainly do not seem to regard the branch of Greggs in Leicester as anything like Eden. One man says that he would not let his dog be sick in there.

I thought the photograph above is a rendering of the Gregg's Tea Dome. This is a late entry for the architectural competition for the large, partially derelict site at the seaside end of Hove Street.

To summarise : This Dome will offer the famous and popular Greggs 75p tea and milk along with a sea view and protection from wind and rain.
Other delicacies from the Greggs menu will also be offered along with seasonal specials. The size of the Dome will allow many more customers to be catered for than is now possible in George Street Hove, Western Road near Churchill Square or the infamous London Road shop. There is plenty of confidence that the stunning sea view will be a great addition to the Greggs experience.

Talking of Paradise, that is how Greggs regards Mauritius. They call it the "paradise island with the turquoise sea".

And Greggs will send you there.

All you have to do is fill in the survey, though there is probably even less chance of being Mauritius-bound than getting an i-Pod after buying a coke.

But you never know.

The survey form is at:

There had to be a catch, it was to much to hope for, a trip to Mauritius courtesy of Greggs.

Look at this:

"Greggs PLC reserves the sole right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable."

So there it is. An apologetic note to say that the Mauritius trip is off, but don't worry, good old Greggs will be sending round 9000 of its unbeatble sausage rolls.

Trips to Mauritius are not compatible with current thinking. Too much carbon pollution.

Far better to have the Tea Dome here at Hove Seafront - better tea, enjoy the sea view, tourism locally and less pollution.

Education is hardly what is offered children up North, where there is this expression:

"Greggs dummy - A sausage roll or other savoury pastry which is given to a child in it's 'buggy' - pushchair.: "That bairn has a gregg's dummy again" Helen Hemingway (North Shields)"

Some of them eat flies, which they probably find tastier than they would Greggs.
