I will have to investigate this and check credentials.
I am not sure if Greggs offer any sauce or condiments.
Perhaps they are missing something here?

I have been around a Ginsters factory.
It does put you off a bit.
However, I am still dumb enough to eat this and Pork Pies.

Personally, I start at one end and work my way to the other.

LTNS' suggestion about brown sauce sounds frankly disgusting

Pure veneer ... used to disguise the cardboard like properties of the real roll (sausage or otherwise).

All this has obscured the fact that LTNS has ducked the FACT that he did not specify HP when referring to "Brown Sauce". If he had done so, he might not have brought all this on his head.

Come to think of it, wasn't there recent controversy over HP Sauce no longer being brewed/boiled/scraped together in England?

Yes, say so myself - nobody else will! -, I am right!

Heinz took over HP Sauce and promptly closed down the Birmingham factory last year and transferred the boiling up of this condiment to Holland.

So, there we have it, LTNS claims to be supporting the London Road but in fact he is a mainstay of the Dutch economy.

That is because HP is sold in every Shop.
It is Common Sense for a British person
to know that.
FACT.

Couldn't get any in the Co-op nor in Lidl ... Asda had a couple of the huge bottles but that was it.

Outrageous! HP sauce is the Great British sauce!
Wherever it is made these days.
Used to drink it neat as a kid...fantasic stuff

Yes, but isn't it a matter of the quality/type of water used? Is Dutch water the same as that in Brimingham? I doubt it.

After all, nobody would claim that the Grolsch "brewed under licence" in Manchester is the same as the real stuff, would they?

Indeed LTNS did rush from the car.

It is a snack and grab raid on Greggs.

I am not a bus anorak, so perhaps LTNS could tell us what makes this number 5 particularly interesting.

Does it have a serial number along the side that adds up to 21, that sort of thing?

Perhaps every time somebody spots such a number, it is an excuse to nip into Greggs for an extra, celebratory pasty?
