They may not be highly-principled, might just require basic standards of hygiene.
Lets start a Gregs fetish night. |

Hot steamy pasties, those uniforms and lines of hungry office workers.. it's a recipe for romance.

Nothing better than a tuna baguette for a good spanking. Greggs bread is guaranteed not to split. |

The sort of thing that would be 'only in Brighton'. Could start a trend.

Hot Wilburys news. This book appears in the autumn. This firm's books cost a bit but should be an investment.
"TRAVELING WILBURYS BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT
In the week that the long-awaited re-issue of The Traveling Wilburys Volumes 1 and 3 went on sale, Genesis Publications is pleased to announce a long overdue limited edition book on the world's greatest supergroup.
Expected for publication in Autumn 2007, the limited edition Traveling Wilburys book will present a trove of unseen photos and memorabilia from the Harrison estate archives. These will sit alongside classic photos of the band with text drawn from interviews given by the various Wilburys all over the world.
Genesis' books are always special, but in dealing with a collaboration as this, subscribers can expect all the stops to be pulled for a spectacular box set.
Keep an eye on the website for more news in the coming months. "

Well, that is one book which LTNS won't be able to point out is going for a few quid less at Wal Mart. |

Mr Poppadum, you seem to have an unhealthy interest in Greggs tuna baguettes to go! Is there something you would like to share with us? |

| Judging by the uniformed staff's enthusiasm for dolloping the stuff on everything/body in sight, I have a terrible feeling that there could be bucketloads of mayo available at the Greggs fetish night. |

| Looks as if Greggs excites more passion in Brighton and Hove than the King Alfred! Perhaps will be the place to host the Greggs night? |

Surely too much mayo would make for a soggy baguette, thus reducing its effectiveness for delivering a good spanking? And may I ask, is it better with or without the addition of cucumber, sliced or otherwise? |

Latest news - Greggs pasties to be used to measure the cost of living - see here:
http://www.hmcm.co.uk/hmcm/news/nosmenu.htm
Of course if this is old news, I do apologise. Greggs seems to be taking off in leaps and bounds publicity wise at the moment - anything to do with this good forum I wonder? |

Nothing can dent a Greggs baguette. They would be deemed unduly cruel if used in warfare.
Should cucumber have black pepper on it (for general, eating purposes, that is)? |

Shares in Greggs have dropped 4% this week with news of the problems in wheat and diary products, partly caused by the floods.
Will participants in this forum be accused of insider dealing in now talking up the chain's great prospects as a bastion of England's culinary reknown?
Meanwhile, up in Newcastle, Sir Michael is working late, a light pulled over his desk, a spreadsheet in front of him, a calculator at one side, and he has been heard to say, "there's nothing for it now, we're going to have to cut back on the mayo!"
Doesn't look, then, as if it will be in a mood for sponsoring the Greggs fetisch night at the King Alfred. |

Just think. Tomorrow is Pride and that had to begin somewhere. The sausage roll and pasty fetish night could become a fixture on the local calender, draw tourists and bring much needed attention to Brighton. Maybe this is an event that will not involve lots of cars. However the queues outside Greggs shops will have to be managed.

| It would be a coup if Milla Jovovich opened the night by making her great Greggs debut. That would at last make Brighton a "world class" place. But steps would have to be taken to prevent Simon Fanshawe gatecrashing it and boring her with his usual chat-up line about the Economic Partnership and regeneration. |

The Chinese could soon have an effect upon the London Road.
The sudden desire of the Chinese to drink moremilk is not met by their lack of cows, and so supplies have been diverted from Europe, where, in Germany, the price has gone up. Likely to happen here, so, combined with the floods, the 75p tea is likely to take a hit, and, with it, bang goes hope of London Road regeneration.
Let's hope the Chinese do not develop a taste for tuna baguettes - or mayo! |

| Will the Pride marchers take a diversion to the London Road Greggs to stock up on the cult gay item, Tottenham cake? The one with that bold, proudly pink icing. |

Over at the Argus they have woken up belatedly to the momentous matter of tea, and it turns out that the owner of the Southover Street tea shop puts in front of a firing squad anybody who dares to dunk a biscuit on the premises. Firm but fair, I believe it's called.

If them's the house rules then so be it. As long as all that go there are happy with that, then great.
Being a habitual dunker, I would have to control myself! Na, never happen. |
