Perhaps people wil install a Greggs ringtone as an "ironic" thing to have - so awful it's good.

Does Sir Michael Darrington have it on his?

No doubt it is by eschewing, rather than chewing, Greggs products that the neighbour has reached this age in so hale a spirit. His system has not been burdened by all that stodge which LTNS mysteriously regards as a symbol of the good life.

A t-shirt with "I don't go to Greggs" on it could become a cult item.

Graduates are obliged to wear strange headgear at Greggs. Then again, a mortar board is an odd thing.

No doubt LTNS is making plans to bequeath his Greggs collection to the nation.

Or, as we say over here, FACTEN.

What does LTNS make of it? Come to that, does Greggs supply a Welsh translation on its menus of such things as it corned-beef pasty?

Safe? Certainly however the question remains to what extent can Greggs be considered as being a real brood winkel?

Here is how to create a proper baguette instead of that pale imitation which goes by the same name at Greggs in the London Road, Brighton. FACT.

Sir Michael Darrington has created something called "bounceability". It is not another sandwich, even if some might call the ham a bit rubbery, but bounceability is one of his top tips for business success.

Perhaps this topic has stumbled upon the answer: Dutch sandwiches. Maybe one of Europe's best kept secrets.

Will the EC constitution bring a harmonisation of take-away food standards across Europe? If so, that would mean that Greggs has to revamp its products.

It is difficult to believe that Belgium, renowned for its fine chocolate, would tolerate any branches of Greggs similar to the one in the London Road, Brighton, which still awaits regeneration.

Good news, everybody! Greggs has now published its results for the first half of the year, and it is looking good for anybody with shares in the enterprise.

Sir Michael Darrington notes in his introduction that "During the first half we gave priority to refreshing a significant proportion of the Greggs chain, comprising some 350 shops. This has involved softening the somewhat strident colours of our previous takeaway-orientated design, using a palette more in keeping with our bakery image. At a relatively low cost per unit, this
has created a significantly more attractive shopping environment for our customers."

He does not mention whether the new "palette", done cheaply (what else?), is to the taste of the Brighton agent, LTNS, who perhaps favours a strident one as more in keeping with the London Road, Brighton.

Here is the pdf and it can also be obratined in HTML format. Sir Michael provides some news on the Belgian expansion - and Belgians certainly will expand if they keep going in there - but he does not describe the menus there.

Here is an alarming story of coffee in the North East.

Of course she could have drunk any amount of Greggs coffee and felt no effect whatsoever.
