There is no mention of Greggs in Jean Calder's article in the Saturday Argus about the need to regenerate London Road, Brighton... There'll be no free pasties for her then.

Could there be another invasion from the North?

Up there is a bakery chain called Merrie England. It seems to have spread from Huddersfield.

Perhaps we should send Truffles up there to educate them in the way of fine bread baking.

LTNS is curiously silent on trhe fact that for the price of Greggs' tea you can get Woolworth\'s champagne.

Is Greggs on the London Road, Brighton equipped to stand up to any attempts to impose a protection racket on the premises?

After all, there could be nasty scenes if a hood came in and snarled, '"you want those tuna baguettes to keep their mayo in them, lady?"

There's a bloke here who is an expert on Greggs pasties and he says that the ones sold in the South are inferior to those in Newcastle - even the Manchester ones are better than here.

I am surprised to find that Greggs is not yet selling a Christmas pasty. They risk being pipped by Forfars for this oversight.

Greggs will be able to make use for Christmas the pasties which are turning green, and they will add a couple of red berries on top. That is resourceful.

I am cool!

It is LTNS who gets the heat up when he is found out for inhabiting a fantasy notion that these dodgy pasties and baguettes - created by Northeners - will somehow regenerate the London Road, Brighton when it in fact is obvious to anybody with sense that it is far better to shop at that true Sussex outfit, Truffles.

Sorry Infinite. In the world of what's cool and what's not, the opinions of housebound illiterates are what count. Probably not your fault though, as it's inevitable that people will become uncool due to pathetic newlabour.

Again you are way off track
and Not Cool.

Greggs is a Hot Food & Drink Take Away and Cakes.
It is nothing like those Cake Only shops.

LTNS's claims to regenerate the London Road, Brighton cannot be taken seriously if he simply wants to keep it on the level of a Belgian bun rather have it aspire to the heights of pastries described in that article.

More Rubbish from CP.
Aldi is soon on London Road.

The Open Market Of London Road
gives it a special area.

You are so wrong.

I refuse to be drawn into a debate over which posters are or aren`t `Cool`, but certainly I am one who doesn`t give a monkeys whether I`m considered `cool` or not! I would be upset to be called Untruthful, Immature, or Unkind. Daft, Stubborn, `Un-Cool` are among the words I personally couldn`t take as insults!
