Here is more on the Krystal Square Off.
Can we look forward to something similar in the London Road, Brighton to aid its regeneration?

That is in Crawley. London is close to that, what do you expect up there.
That has bugger all to do with London Road, Brighton , East Sussex. |

LTNS says that Crawley is "close" to London (is it?), but then in Brighton it is called London Road...
The London element is beside the point. Crime does not stop at the borders of Brighton and Hove (on the contrary, some might say...). If Baker's Oven has suffered such a terrible attack, with sales assistants quivering in fear as the knife glints beneath the fluorescent light and the wasp-killing device, then steps must be taken by Greggs to prevent staff here from such an ordeal. After all, LTNS has extolled the wide door, enough for any number of criminals to get through... |

Daveb's figures show that LTNS's take upon crime/mileage is - shall we say? - idiosyncratic. These figures reveal that it might make more sense for Brighton criminals to drive to Crawley for a "job" than for London ones to do so (especially as these have more traffic to get through).
Meanwhile, if the Brighton criminals decide to carry out a job on their home patch - the London Road - does LTNS's statement about the number of staff in Greggs mean that they are trained to go into arm-to-arm combat with any number of criminals who get through that "Wide Door" and that the said criminal would be mad even to attempt a raid?
Of course, any canny criminal, if caught and up before the judge, might plead, "Your Honour, I was simply trying to save people from the far greater crime against humanity of the Greggs products! I was saving them from themselves!" |

So why didn't the Crawley (London?) (Brighton?) criminal hold up a jewellers there instead of going for a version of the well-known pasty/tuna baguette store?
We should all be worried about crime. |

That's right ... it was a bakery that was robbed to the tune of several hundred pounds. |

What I know or think I know about junkies is neither here nor there LTNS. You have obviously decided that the young man who committed this audacious robbery in a bakery is a junky ... One can only assume that you make this leap on the basis of some knowledge regarding the actual individual that carried out this specific criminal act.
Far be it from me to tell you what your duty as an upright citizen is but I would venture to suggest that telephone and police station come into it somewhere. |

Well, from your posts it looks as if you are very aware of who actually commited this heinous crime. Anyway, I know you drive a car ... you've already told us that is when and where you listen to Radio 5. It isn't that far ... |

Except that this robbery took place in Crawley as you have been at pains to point out.
You claim that you were in Brighton. Yet you tell us that the robber is a junkie. You get shirty because someone remembers you have in a previous post claimed to have a car and to driving said car. You also refer to Brighton as the "Junkie City of England".
Hmmmmmmm ..... Methinks the LTNS doeth protest too much. |

But this was posted by you. No link to any article. One can only assume that it is from your own knowledge of events. Do you know the robber's grandmother? Does she work at the bakery?
Just as a matter of interest ... where were you at 1.30pm last Saturday? Thinking of placing a bet? |

It seems as if this robber is far from in a near dead state. He managed to avoid capture by concerned passers by in a crowded shopping centre on a Saturday lunchtime. |

| There was that view from Cardiff quite a few pages back now that Greggs put crack in its pasties, hence their addictive power for customers. |
