From ITV Local News Somerfield London Road will be banned from selling Drinks for a month or two next month. They have sold Booze to children.
Today a Special Team did a sting operation to see if they had all changed their selling attitude. Many today including local Tesco's were caught out yet again. This was a Test - no store is to be fined but is sadly proves that shops change staff each month so new training on selling booze to the under age is not working.
Maybe Next the Sting they should close the whole store for a week then the staff would get it right. |

Greggs must now be prosecuted.
They have fallen fould of trading standards.
Their "Christmas sandwich" says that it contained "butter basted" turkey but in fact it uses margarine, not butter. |

LTNS has not addressed this flagrantly dishonest behaviour by Greggs.
This also happens in baked potato shops. They say it's butter but slap on marg. |

Marg is really upset by being slapped about. Being slapped by butter this time of year is very painful. It is like have bricks thrown at you unless it is heated for a prolonged time.
What is a Prolonged Time I hear you ask?

| Again, LTNS has ducked the issue (butter/margarine). He has instead gone on about soup. |

Once again, LTNS has failed to address the apocalyptic news about the ending of Greggs and the consequences of that for the London Road, Brighton, as reported in today's Telegraph.
So far as I can tell, LTNS is not one to take a long view of such matters but they cannot be ignored. |

Great Real Music Miriam Real Guitars and Instruments before Computer Rubbish Music of today. Soon kids will grow up with nothing but computer program music.
Meanwhile the Great Greggs deal is a Coffee and Mince Pie for just £1.10.

In Greggs in the London Road, Brighton I have many times said aloud the words Long Time No See when other customers have been in there - but never has there been a turn of the head, a flash of recognition.
This suggests two things:
Either LTNS is not as a regular customer as he would have us believe (and is secretly skulking in Forfars) OR, of course, that his paymasters at the Newcastle HQ have got their agents so well trained that they do not flinch when challenged in this way. If so, you have to admire LTNS's cool under fire - unless of course he was one of those suddenly nibbling nervously at a pasty protruding from a paper bag and spilling the "coffee". |

LTNS has not presented the full picture. The increase is only an improvement on a "disappointing" 2006 and the full story will become clear with its year-end results in March.
LTNS is counting his pasties before they are hatched - er, reheated. |

| LTNS avoids presenting the full picture whenever possible ... It makes his prejudices much easier to accommodate. |

With some Luck Howard Shultz the CEO of Starbucks wil close some of the pathetic American Starbucks in the UK. Since he is only going to update his own American market. The rest can rot. |

This topic has now opened up.
So, Mrs Poppadum has heard that the Hove Business Association's annual awards includes Male Personality of the Year, who is Kevin from Greggs in George Street.
LTNS has not reported upon this dynamic addition to the metropolitan scene. |

I am fed up with all this piss-taking about Greggs. I am in serious mode here. I have eaten several delicacies from their Western Road branch with no drastic repercussions. I suggest a forum visit to the London Road franchise. If we say who we are, who knows, we may even get a discount! I understand they only do takeaways, but we could always eat on the Level. If LT joins us, I promise I will stand him a pasty or three! |

What are these Greggs "delicacies"? Their stuff looks more heavy duty to me. |
