In Greggs in the London Road, Brighton I have many times said aloud the words Long Time No See when other customers have been in there - but never has there been a turn of the head, a flash of recognition.

This suggests two things:

Either LTNS is not as a regular customer as he would have us believe (and is secretly skulking in Forfars) OR, of course, that his paymasters at the Newcastle HQ have got their agents so well trained that they do not flinch when challenged in this way. If so, you have
to admire LTNS's cool under fire - unless of course he was one of those suddenly nibbling nervously at a pasty protruding from a paper bag and spilling the "coffee".

A long time ago this was posted, I know, but I have been wasting my time elsewhere for a while!

Do you reaally think that LT was born with that name? He is surely known by a proper respectful christian name like the rest of us.

As for slapping Marge, in the sandwich shops I use, you have a choice of low fat spread or butter, or nothing, with no choice as to marge slapped or otherwise.

I am fed up with all this piss-taking about Greggs. I am in serious mode here. I have eaten several delicacies from their Western Road branch with no drastic repercussions. I suggest a forum visit to the London Road franchise. If we say who we are, who knows, we may even get a discount! I understand they only do takeaways, but we could always eat on the Level. If LT joins us, I promise I will stand him a pasty or three!

What are these Greggs "delicacies"? Their stuff looks more heavy duty to me.

There's those pasties, these pasties, and all the other pasties (a bit like Dylan Moran in Black Books)!

It is increasingly dangerous to buy a Greggs pasty.

All that any policeman, under pressure to increase arrests/warnings, is to amble along London Road, Brighton, and charge a pasty-bearing citizen with having an "offensive weapon".

One (of many) ways to piss our Mims off, is to suggest that we stop, en route to exotic climes like - Crawley - ugh - and grab a Greggs pasty to eat on the way!

There are further moves in the anti-pasty campaign.

The Telegraph reports the possibility that there will be extra people visiting, and this means that they could have a second helping of pasties.

If anybody went back sixty years later for a second helping of that day's pasties at Greggs in the London Road, Brighton, they would not have become any fresher in the meanwhile.

A separate topc, but also for the record: baguettes are being used as lethal weapons.

Miriam let me go into Greggs today to get a pasty for my lunch, as we were heading to Crawley. Mind you, I had to put up with her hurling insults at me from the car as I crossed the London Road.
But I went into the shop, with my head held high. I chose a cheese and onion pasty. Dropped (or rather muttered) a few names, like LTNS, and Livewire, in the hope of a reduction or better still a freebee, but was still charged the full price.

Anyway, it was a very nice pasty. Better than Forfars any day. Nice crisp pastry. I am going for the sausage and beans one next time (if I'm allowed). Sorry about the crumbs Mim

Traitor! She took advantage of my good nature! She said she was hungry so I agreed to stop outside that Subway so she could get a healthy roll. Before I could stop her she had legged it across the road!

Good thing it was a clear day as it must have been vital to keep the windws wide open for a large part of the journey to Crawley so that the Greggs tang was carried away from the car.

I reckon it is the phallic symbolism that gets him going.

There is still a lot of stock on the shelves when those pictures were taken at the end of the day. So it looks as if Greggs is not as popular as LTNS would have us believe.

Yes, it looks as the photograph of LTNS in the silver foil hat will have been to adapted into the one in which he was made by admin to go and stand in the corner for midemeanours quite possibly caused by a rush of pasty ingredients to the brain. He has paid the price for his subservience to all things Greggs.

This report suggests holding Greggs shares but not to expect immediate growth (except, some might say, on the pasties after 4pm).

Extraordinary news here about Greggs, Muslims and lavatories.

Will such things be provided in the London Road, Brighton?

I cannot believe that Greggs' products are produced in a manner satisfactorty to Musilms, so it's no wonder none work for it.
