Dickens specified in his will that he wanted no memorial erected. His works and the various spin offs will ensure that he is remembered methinks. Should a statue be erected despite his stated wishes? Medway seems to thinks so. quote: Medway Council, who say the idea is in its very early stages, discussed a statue at a meeting earlier this month.
