| One cannot help but wonder why the police thought it necessary to 'alert' the council that there was no certification. |

"an environmental health officer raised concerns over its lack of a certificate." What has eniviromental health got to do with cinema? Do non-certified films give off noxious chemicals? Are they full of subliminal messages that will turn the audience into mindless zombies?
Most odd. |

Worst kind of censorship, you can be assured now people will seek out this film to see what its all about...
Could be the truth that frightens the police and poloticians into this action.....? |

Could it be that the film was so awful, dire and dull that the Duke's management decided to pull it but then blame the pulling on the police/environmental health officer/EvilBrownTescoWalmart to still keep their 'right on' cred?

Maybe the film has a very slight political bias. It is possible that it may even not portray the truth only that as the makers see it....... |

| No maybe about it ... That Smash EDO lot were, in my view, both political and extremely biased. However surely that is for viewers to determine for themselves. |

They are protesters of course they have a bias. I hardly think someone who saw both sides of the picture is likely to be inspired to go out and campaign about something that might or might not have been a good or bad thing.
The police don't like the anti-war lobby as the anti-war lobby cause them a major headache. |

| IMHO the edo protesters have always acted like bullies and bell ends and have done their case more harm than good. |

| I wasn't going to bring those tactics up but seeing as you have mentioned it No Expert ... yes, and among the less savoury tactics was the way they tried attacking the workers at the factory. |

| It's all 'Smash Edo' 'smash the system' followed by 'Yes I have been looking for work for the last 2 weeks, now where do I put my signature?' |

Yep everyone who has ever been on a smash edo protest is unemployed, they are also drunks and frequent drug users.
This anti-war sentiment is obviously a load of nonsense and what arises from a lack of a proper protestant work ethic.

I didn't mean to say that everyone who has ever been on a smash edo protest is unemployed, I meant to say they're all cunts.
Please accept my apology. |
