It forking hurts I got apain under my arm and my chest;is it stress? or should I have it checked out?I really do not feel right.I dont want to waste "A+E " time as I have had 3 pints of strong lager I might be over reacting

Get it checked. You have too much to lose. A&E for you before the Sat night masses arrive. Good luck.

He's okay Dingo ... he went to the hospital and after waiting an hour was told to go home and put some ice on it and only come back if it got any worse. He went home, dug out some frozen peas and went to bed. Woke up in the morning with a wet bed, mushy peas and an elbow that though still bruised - a lovely black purple by all accounts - no longer swollen and less painful.

Glad to hear it all turned out OK,and I know this is late in the day, but for future reference Delboy, if you are in doubt ALWAYS get it checked out...don`t think of it as `wasting A&E`s time`, nor of wasting your time waiting to be seen to, for that matter. Think of it as If You`re Worried Enough to consider going there, then it`s worth investing the time to do so for Peace of Mind. It`s also always well worth applying a bag of frozen peas to bruised/swollen areas as soon as you notice them, and while you wait for professional attention. Wrap them in a sealed plastic bag and a teatowel or pillowcase to avoid the wetness. |

Bags of new peas with mint are best. Sweetcorn if you feel exotic.

Even Ice-pops...ideal because they`re sealed, can be re-frozen!
