NIKOLSKOE, Russia (Reuters) - A Russian doomsday cult sheltering in a bunker say credit cards and food packaging bar codes are satanic, the official negotiating the release of children from the group said on Monday.

Revelation 13:16-18 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
Many people think that ID cards and the RFID microchips which are being suggested as a way to create a cashless society are the mark of the beast.
One of the places where they want to put the microchips is in your right hand.
The number of his name - All of our Christian names are going to be replaced with a unique Identity number on the NIR.
You can see how someone who took the Bible very seriously could also interpret Barcodes mistakenly as the mark of the beast. However Barcodes are marked on the object that is for sale and not the person.
In a country such as Russia that has a history of anti-capitalist thought you can see how these religious ideas get confused with a moral reaction against commercialism.

The term Warlock has a contested etymology whereas within modern witchcraft the term witch was non-gender specific, and I couldn’t remember what sex you were. |
