And the economics will dictate that employing Polish drivers while paying British drivers the dole would not be all that sound.

Tell me about it, I am using Tetleys instead of Twinings these days!
To say nothing of using Jeyes fluid instead of perfume

Nor would they pay the same rate of tax and the dole monies would still have to come from somewhere!

I am anti anything that puts British workers out of a job. My irm outsources to Mumbai which I think is disgraceful.

I know....I'm a miserable old git.........and I am getting to quite enjoy it!

Outsource for 'Telephone' help
has gone very wrong.

Many firms may reverse
and return to the UK.

The Bus Workers

No, we dont outsource telephone help, we outsource secretarial. A sin when I personally know several people who need the money, and could do the job much better, but are not willing/are unable to do it for the price of a bowl of rice.

The americans outsource as much as they can.

It takes energy and resources to create the paper bags, whose weight means that a packet contains less tea than the packets of loose. What's more, the loose makes for a better brew as it can be stirred throughout the pot of water.

Greggs could learn from this

B+H buses do employ Polish drivers and yes they do get the same pay,my friend Mick works for b+h so does my friend Janeck;both are on the same wage although Mick gets his bonus for having been there so long. And the drivers have a genuine grieviance so they have the right to strike if it cannot be resolved properly

If they are working hard, it is a good thing to have a break and make of pot of good tea from loose leaves: it is fortifying.

http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/generalnews/display.var.2227316.0.bus_drivers_warned_they_will_be_walked_over_if_they_dont_strike.php

Sharon Wentworth, the union's regional industrial
organiser for the south east, told the drivers' meeting:
"We are at the final hurdle now.

"The next few weeks and months are not going to be easy.
We are in a desperate struggle with the company
and it's not called a struggle for nothing.

"We are going to support you every step of the way."

She also revealed that negotiations with the company have stopped.

So the Strike is gettng ready
Bring it On.
Employ 24/7 new Polish staff.

Here's a suggestion for you LTNS. You have a car haven't you? ... offer a free cab service to the Old Folks of BrightonHove while the strike is on. Do your bit!
