You are in error all prices in every place have gone up.
A Cup Of Tea covers many costs, as you well know,
but still the best value in this city for just 89p
for a Quality Tea is from Greggs.

Life In The City.

I am surprised that LTNS did not alert eaters to this new advertising series by Greggs which, astonishingly, promises higher-quality bread for the sandwiches. Which only goes to prove what we have all said, that the current bread is poor.

Can we have an expert view soon on the Belgian triple muffin? This is perhaps a remnant of Greggs's doomed plans to invade Belgium.

I think I shall try the Belgian triple muffin, purely as an experimental exercise you all understand. It's a lousy job, but somebody has to do it, if only for the sake of the other forumites.

I shall probably try one sometime next week, and shall let you have my opnion.

Interesting that Greggs has the phrase "non-rejector of Greggs" for what everybody else calls customer.

So the rejectors have struck a corporate nerve despite all of LTNS's efforts to force the Belgian triple muffin down every gullet across the nation.

It looks to me that If the Belgians had any of the triple muffins in 1914, they could have hurled these at the Germans, seen them off swiftly, and world history would have taken a different course.

Indeed. The 1st Belgian Muffin Brigade was not formed until 1923.
It was later disbanded due to health reasons.

If an army marches on its stomach then only the kamikaze section would award Greggs the catering contract.

Although the Earth-like planet Gliese 581 e has been discovered, the astronomers' telescope is not powerful enough to detect whether the planet has gone the whole hog and includes branches of Greggs.

Perhaps, however, it is the very presence of Greggs on this planet which has made potential visitors from other planets give this one a wide berth. "Agh!, pasties!" goes the cry at the steering column and they head off into the darkness.

The exception to this could be Roger French.

Sounds as if these women should have a big market if they can target Greggs customers.

Sounds as if orders have gone out at Greggs HQ for staff to talk up the stores on Twitter. But it doesn't look as if there are many real people signing up there for alerts about Greggs thoughts every second of the day.

The discerning can check in here for more considered thoughts upon the tragic phenomenon that is Greggs plc.

This would never happen in London Road.
http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/4320680.Brighton_gunman_thwarted_by_Kemp_Town_have_a_go_heroes/

The local shop keepers have a ready supply of stale Greggs pasties and belgian buns etc under the counter. Any robber would not stand a chance against such WMD. (Well Mouldy Delicacies)

Only when we have eliminated the possibily can we be sure that Greggs products have not played a part is the rise of swine flu.

House of Horrors!

Here are pictures of Greggs bakery over seven decades.

Does the Newcastle branch do stotties? And will they become available in the London Road, Brighton?

Here is an article which suggests that Greggs pasties are a killer.

Neat picture with it.

But if you're going to have meat, then beef chuck deckle is better value than a Greggs pasty...

I may have been mistaken but I thought I heard an advert on Southern FM for Greggs Cheese & Onion Pasties at 99p.

They'll be 1.08 by the time you get there. A bit like their ever more expensive tea, which goes up in price despite deflation across the UK.. Oh Greggs.

With fears about swine flu growing, will Greggs announce how much pork there is in its products?

"there windows"? That doesn't make sense unless you meant "them there windows".

It is well known that too many pasties can lead eaters to confuse adverb and possessive.

It must have been a particularly strong pasty LTNS ate before his posting.

It should of course be "An Ideal snack" or even "An ideal snack".

I am somewhat troubled about the correct spelling of Pasty and the plurals. Is it pasties or Pastys. I need to know for bulk buying in readiness of the swine Flu curfew.

There is another angle. We'll know that civilisation has hit rock bottom when going into a French bar and asking for a "pastis" -and instead of handing over an aniseed-tasting drink, the innkeeper proffers a leathery item in a Greggs bag.
