The pasties are couriered, so it makes sense to put in a big order.

Perhaps LTNS will be organising a co-op to stock up on them.

Ah, Blondie! If that`s a serious question (and you know you`ll get some humourous replies to it anyway)it`s probably only LT himself who knows the serious answer, and I doubt he`d tell us! Even though many of us use screen names and choose some degree of anonymity, LTNS is surely the most anonymous poster here. This is probably why some posters use humour and imagination to fill in the blanks. That`s my theory, though some of his more `ranty` posts, and his...er..alternative style of typing might also account for how some folk respond.

I think that we can safely assume that Blondie is not one of the Greggs board. So that narrows the field.

Apparently Greggs will announce shortly that from October customers can be certain that it will sell only washed cheese. But it is not clear whether this refers to each block before it is cut or each slice therefrom.

The World Cancer Research Fund has announced that processed meat - including ham and salami - should be avoided as it brings on cancer. As does being overweight.

Not Good News for Greggs.

If he'd said that he was looking for a branch of Greggs,or at least some pasties, then I think we could have definitely clinched LTNS's identity, but this is the most likely theory yet.

Mrs Poppadum remarks that Greggs' tea has now gone up to 89p and is not Tetley's but a fairtrade one.

LTNS's finger is not on the pulse of Life in the City.

The Greggs in Western Road also have Tetley

And 89p for Tea is a bargain
when all other Stores/Cafe's are over a pound.

Inflation is at it's lowest for years yet Greggs keep jacking up their prices on their disgusting cheap tasting tea.

I remember when a cup of tea [char] cost tuppence, plus a 'wad' for a penny. Oh happy days.

If Greggs' tea is as good as LTNS claims, then he must dry out the tea bags in the oven for re-use.

Presumably this means that we are well advised to dry out the Greggs tea bags in the oven? Of course when it is turned on for something else. It would lessen the Greggs value to turn on the oven especially for this.

Why, then, don't branches of Greggs have a poster about the great Xtra use of the tea bags?

How old are the trees from which the Greggs tea comes? LTNS has always been very evasive about this. The pasties might be 400 years old but, alas, the trees are probably not...

Greggs ads do not turn up on pasty sites. Greggs is out of touch with developments in the world of contemporary pasties. It is stuck in the London Road, Brighton and such places.

I see that a dating agency now advertises at the top of the Greggs topic.

Presumably the path to true romance lies in making it clear "has own pasty".

These ads at the top get weirder. There was one about tea for longevity - but is it enough to - er - outweigh the effect of all the pasties?

We could perhaps be treated to the thoughts of a 120-year-old LTNS.

A 120 year old LTNS?

That means he's good for another seven years yet.

Why hasn't LTNS told us of these Greggs plans to "roll out" ite "new concept" stores across the country?

There even seems to be a system of impulse purchases which mean not having to pay at the counter - and pictures on the wall of bread-making!

Alarmingly, Greggs plans to increase its stores by another 600.

Most puzzling, of course, is that Greggs chose Bromley, of all places, for its first "new concept" store and not the London Road, Brighton.
