El Tee, I recently had a Greggs Cheese and Onion pasty which I enjoyed immensley (much to Miriam' disgust), and hope to repeat the experience, perhaps with a different filling, but I have to ask this question - are you on a commission?

It looks, though, as LTNS has had another nibble at the cat's right ear while waiting for Greggs to open.

No CV but have found some extracts from a school report.

St Greggs Academy

School Report:
Pupil: LTNS

English: Continues to use strange style of grammar.

Maths: Do the!

History: Has a tendency to overstate the FACTS

Art: Original work is hard to find but very good with scissors and glue.

Physics: Cannot help thinking he is a few electrons short of an atom.

Domestic Science: Pasty and tea fetish!

Commerce: Strange attraction to American corporations.

Politics: Sits in the corner and mumbles about illegal wars and evil?

Media & I.T.: Tries very hard.

Local Affairs: Likes life in the city.

Head Master’s comment:
He is not the Messiah, just a very naughty boy.

We're all doomed!
Head for the hills before they start heading for you!

Michael Darrington comments here the other day on Greggs and the state of the world, and is pictured with some tongs and gooey-looking cakes.

Seems that anybody who bought Greggs shares in 1984 would have seen the value go up fortyfold.

Which I suppose is better than putting one's money in the pasties themselves. The canny have, then, let LTNS swell their coffers.

Could LTNS be a shareholder?

This would explain everything.

He is urging everybody to buy things there while he sits at home and uses the annual dividends to enjoy gourmet produce.

Here is a report about a cheese festival. Much better than the stuff in Greggs's products.

Perhaps enjoyed by LTNS with his dividends.

you keep going round in circles
this was all asked on the Original thread.

Tetley Tea at 80p with Real Milk
is the best bargain in Brighton/Hove.
This helps people save money.

LT, are you the polite young chap with dark hair who served Miriam and I lunchtime, with a sausage and bean melt pasty (me), and a chicken pasty (Mim)? We thought he was a bit young to be you, but I said perhaps you kid us all and you have a Blackberry hidden on your person to keep you in touch with the outer world.

I quite enjoyed my pasty, but Mim was not imppressed with hers - no chicken apparently; ergo it was an an alleged chicken pasty. Serves her right she could have had a buy two of the same for £2 and had the same as me

Pel
I have nothing to do with that branch.
I have confirmed that on the Original thread
so you are also going in circles.

That product error would have been changed
if you had time.

Pel ... next time girl ... you can WALK back!

And anyway, that young man wasn't polite - he wasn't rude I'll grant you but that was only because he was too busy being surly!

Aha!!!! How did you know to which branch I was referring?

Mim also asked if I wanted an 80p cup of tea, but one can have too much of a good thing, so I sadly declined her offer

The only way Pel 'dragged' me into that store was because she threatened to streak down the length of London Road if I didn't!

With these extra customers it sounds as if the share price could edge upwards again.

Oh definitely ... with both Pel and I in there we doubled the number of people in the store and that is counting the staff!

Being cornered behaind a counter packed with such delectable products must have been quite daunting for the staff!

Luckily they are well trained in the Marshal Baguette Arts!
