There's been an 11 year drought in Australia ... 3 minute showers are the norm - and I am not talking about rain showers

Alas, this particular urban legend about water going down the other way down under is not a FACT

A very persistent urban myth, but alas untrue

You're in Oz! If memory serves every shop in the country serves meat pies, always (for some weird Antipodean reason) served with little sachets of tomato 'sauce' (their word for ketchup). I'm sure the lack of Greggs won't be too much of a handicap. Which town are you in, by the way? Down south they serve that gourmet addition to world cuisine: the meat pie floater ...

I had one of these after a night's fairly heavy drinking in Adelaide (not much else to do there of an evening). Now, if you have a belly full of beer and can't find the requisite donar kebab with extra chiles, then this fills the spot quite nicely. A meat pie covered in tomato 'sauce' served in a bowl of thick pea soup served from a kerbside pie cart. Delicious (and so rewardingly colourful on its way back!).

Let's see Greggs serve one of these! Hah!

If this were a picture of a Greggs pie, everybody would naturally assume that the green element is the mould spreading from underneath.

The price of pasties could go up owing to the shortage of fertiliser for corn.

Hog manure is being used again.

Prices change in every area and place
but Greggs on London Road still
offer the best value.

That meat pie floater looks strangely appealing BiH. I've not frequented any kebabby style places here but will kepp an eye out. If I could find a place that serves it with Quality tetley tea and real milk I'm in!

Forget Tetleys! You're in Oz! Drink Bushells!! It's great stuff.

Their Extra Strong Teabags are much better than Tetleys

The colour on those packets, the tea looks more like soup. Perhaps that's Oz for you.

Can we expect some Lamington to lift the London Road, Brighton from its current doldrums?

No mention of Greggs in this guide to Brighton eateries for visitors to the Festival.

Has the Tea Cosy moved? This puts it in Kemp Town.

So it was driven out of Hanover? Or did the owner feel that the locals did not meet his standards?

I think it was a bit of both ... but certainly the owners of the cosy did launch a bit of a diatribe against what they perceive as the Hanoverian tendency to spend time gazing at their own Sigmoid Colon.

According to the Guardian's Insider's guide to Brighton Festival one Taj branch is in Hove but the restaurant nearby and a little to the east is 'towards Hove'.

Here are some very useful details about the means by which to counter the effect of Greggs' products.

Perhaps Greggs has had secret government backing to ensure everyone gets their cup of tea in a diaster?

Chin up old boy a nice cup of tea will help you come to terms with the holocaust!

Here is an article about breaking the habits Greggs depends upon. New horizons open up!

And this shows that by breaking the Greggs habit, there is a longer life with less risk of dementia.

Nothing to do with Greggs
this is to do with going to that American Place
or KFC etc.

Oh I don't know LTNS. Considering the amount of goo in one of Greggs' famous roast chickenless pasties ... I'd say it is equally as relevant whether long legs or not have a bearing on Alzheimer
