Well, we went out last night to lament the passing of the british pub. We went to the type of old-fashioned place, full of character, that'll probably fade away once the health nazi law comes in.
I hope that if LTNS ever meets Tony Blair he'll give him a BIG HUG and say "Thanks very much, Tone, for making life difficult for those pathetic rotten smokers" |

Yes it is pathetic this demonetisation of smokers over and above those that consume alcohol, religion, political beliefs and obesity.
Lets all become obedient monks to hate and discrimination, thats the way the world seems to be heading at the moment.
We are all going to regret this and what it gives birth too in the future.....

well as the law only came into effect at 6:00hrs this morning, in terms of being an anacharist, you are in dubious company...

I should enjoy your pint while you can. I have it on good authority that the government are planning to introduce limits on alcohol consumption. Following through on their passing the no smoking bill a new no alcohol in public places bill is on the way. It will run alongside with the introduction of rationing so you are allowed up to 10 units a week that must be taken in approved premises only after you register as an alcoholic and refuse any further medical assistance of any type for you or any member of your family.This will be followed by a no gathering in groups of over 10 bill, the banning of colours bill, the you don't need a car but I do bill and the ever popular who needs a political party except Labour bill. The future is ours and it's all grey........

For now. A new government advisory is to be dispensed regarding the apparant stimulant effects of coffee drinking. With smoking being banned a rise in public agitation is being predicted so in an attempt to stem this the government is looking at banning coffee and tea due to the caffeine stimulation increasing an already over agitated public..... |
