If the Y-fronts stick the windows of Aldi then they need to be changed.

I did not relise the Y-fronts were affiliated to the PLO or the Popular Brighton Front.
All I know is there is load of Fronts out there.

However split the Y-Fronts and the other factions might be, it still looks as if New Labour's elastic has gone.

There was an advertising campaign which used the phrase : Priceless

That is how I would describe this, copied shamelessly from the Argus website.

http://tinyurl.com/yr4gmc

Try these sample questions to see if your English is good enough for you to call yourself a journalist:

1. Is a woman from the Philipines termed a Filipino or a Filipina ?

2. Is the plural of question spelled question's or questions ?

3. To write for the Argus, are you are required to be either stupid or illiterate ?

Will the Argus continue as a daily paper?

It could become a weekly.

Sheesh almighty, the article itself is full of glaring errors but never mind that ... come on peeps, no cheating or googling

* What are the roles and powers of the main institutions of Europe? How is European law organised?

* When do children take tests at school? How many go on to higher education?

* What and when are the Patron Saints' Days of the four countries of the UK?

* How do elections for the House of Commons work? What do the Speaker and Whips do?

* How is education different in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales?

And how many of our beloved Chavs do you reckon could answer those questions?

More awful prose in the Argus!

"A child was rushed to accident and emergency because they had crisps stuck in their ear."

Was this child a schizophrenic?

I shouldn't be surprised if the mother had left the child on his/her own so that she could go to... Greggs.

In her column in yesterday's Argus Jean Calder said that she is annoyed at peopel who, as a point of honour, say that they "do not read the Argus" - whatever might be in it. But if it had morewriting as good as her, then it would have more readers.

The "argus"as a local newspaper is I think very informative, but as a forum they have it set up all wrong;people are allowed to slander and downright LIE about other users and they do nothing about it!!The "Argus " should get an administrator who can do the job properly
