Yes it does look a bit cramped on the argus site, they should have had it on it's own as a full width page. The good thing about it though is it uses phpbb which, although not perfect, has this useful module which, along with some proactive moderation, could stop the troublemakers in their tracks. |

I'm not a fan of Snitz forums, that one is better software but poorly implemented with the clutter around the actual forum. Also it says "Moderators: None" so I can't see why a new look forum will help with the idiots who posted.

| It looks like they're trying to secure it a bit more as well. The argus forum shows as running on apache and centos instead of iis and windows. |

it is like the Argus went Bankrupt
and Muzzer (cheapo admin) gave them a Cheapo Crap Forum.
(The Albion Forum within the Argus)
It had Many Good Honest Battles on it
and many World famous threads
all to be Chucked in the Bin.
Sad Day for that Argus Forum

Can you suggest any forum whihc is completely vandal proof? Chances are there aren't any. A forum is only as good as the admin behind it, not the software.
Having said that, i agree they could update the software. A quick scan on securityfocus doesn't show any vulnerabilities in 2.0.22 |

I've registered there as well but mainly because I did not want anyone registering with my username. I don't really like the lay-out and am finding it very cumbersome to navigate. |
