i notice the new admin iis Lady M - any relationship to the old admin? |

He is the sweetest little dog in the world, and was lost because of an incompetent dog walker. The owner posted a message seeking assistance finding her dog. Various people on the forum went to look for him. I put his photo in my signature so people would become familiar with his appearance.
This was some time ago, I think maybe 18 months, so it's now probably not looking very likely that he will return home. But you never know. |

Ah, yes, the picture! I did not know the history. A sad story. Let us hope that Fritz was taken up by somebody who cared for him. These dogs have such faith in humans.

oh dear: http://forum.theargus.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=9 looks like its almost game over for the Argus Forums.
I'm thinking that the Argus missed a big trick. They had - at the click of the mouse - access to pages of possible material (we all know the journos read it) for the newspaper and posts were used in its saturday letters page. By allowing the mindless minority to ruin it, it desended into the farce it is now. A little bit of investment could have saved it. This forum is an excellent example of how one should be/can be run. For us, we're here but who else is? I liked the fact that the forums were quite accessible to new members. Cllr's read it, 'insiders'and those in the know commented etc. Will this forum also attract new people looking to comment on local (and national) issues?
