Well, 'tis a long time since I was at school, but I don't recall THAT quotation in 'Julius Caesar', and it was one of the set plays for English Literature.

When throwing things like death tolls out, it always pays to have some sort of back-up ... Anyway, this is not Shrubby's count. So it is unbiased

Jodan, LTNS - `did the father encourage his son to join up?` `Nobody joined up to die for Evil Blair`s Criminal Invasion`....
Both the question and the answer beg some comment.
I don`t doubt for a second that young airman`s father was deeply proud of his son, but the lad would have made his own choice or he`d not have got that far, and any responsible parent would feel it, the Big Dilemma...
You`d support your grown child in the career of his choice, you`d approve the `peace-keeping` role that his skill should be deployed for. You`d also dread that his life would be endangered, dread that all his skill and potential could be lost. But you`d dread that even if a just war arose.
To lose your son in a war that IS, however they tried to justify it, Illegal, and that was undertaken through dishonesty by our own politicians and our allies - that must be a bitter thing for any parent to accept.

We attacked the wrong country part II

BAGHDAD - Nearly half of the foreign detainees held in Iraq are Saudi citizens, and lists of their names were given to Saudi officials during a recent visit by an Iraqi delegation, national security adviser Mouwaffak al-Rubaie said in remarks aired Monday.

...Last week, al-Rubaie said before leaving for Saudi Arabia that the majority of the suicide bombers and "those who drive the vehicles to blow up our innocent civilians, Iraqis, are Saudis."

Around 200 have been killed
in massive bombs.

America is not helping Iraq
they are making matters far worse by just being there.

UK Troops leave the Basra Central Palace area
and set up at a base near the Airport.

One new Iraqi General says he can handle Basra Palace.

Time will tell
on how long,
until the UK troops may return.
