We may not be able to smoke in public but at least we are better off than some.

or get a 5,000 pound fine?

This Nation is going into a civil war.

Yes but the new law is giving consideration to minorities so that they do not have their feelings hurt.

The minority being those that want to blow the rest of us too pieces.

One step forward, six steps back I think you'll find it's called. The law applies to everyone, it will be implemented selectively and before you know it accusations of police bias/institutonal racism etcetera will abound.

Oh well, Tony is just trying to make sure that Chery will have plenty of work when they leave number 10 I suppose.

I believe we live in a generally tolerant society compared to the examples shown and others that could be mentioned.

We do react when we feel that groups get preferential treatment or feel their is sense of unfairness when they appear to get away with acts that are seen as unacceptable.

The new law will affect and is meant to protect us all.

Mark Thomas vents his anger at these new laws and how ridiculous they are.

Soon we'll need a manual book to remember all the things that can and cannot do.

I hate to admit it, but when the law is concerned we can't use forgetting and unknowing as an excuse.
