How sad that this Forum has gone the same way as the Argus one did.
The past few days it has so often been difficult to get postings onto it. It's a matter of sittign and waiting, nothing happens, it "times out", and all the effort is wasted.
I'm out of here.

| I've had a few problems with it timing out too, a bit strange. Especially when you hit back and your post is gone! Seems a bit OTT to jump ship over it though, but whatever, goodbye :) |

The server is undergoing a mayor refit. This will take a while to sort out. When I post and it hits a timeout I generally just hit the refresh button and everything is fine ... new post in place and all. Same about when a page is slow to open, hit refresh and there you go.

| I learned the hard way to copy the post first. Then I logged of the forum for a while and after logging on again all was fine. |

It's almost goodbye from me too. The house sale has gone through and we're set to depart for Tenerife on Friday. A relief for daughter number two with whom we are staying at present.

You could confuse some users with that statement. Allow me to correct it for you:

The hosting company (forumco) is, however, Irish being based in Dublin.
Any mention of bleedin' Americans is pure fabrication and could be symptoms of a mild learning disability.
