A classic. Right now the opening line of this one refers to a "duel carriageway".

I guess it can certainly seem like that sometimes.

The Argus here uses the word "their" when it has previously said that only one passenger was involved in being cut from the car. Not two people or more.

Has LTNS tried writing to Brown and/or Bush in hopes that they would mend their ways?

Here is an article about why - in effect - the Argus is thin, and has poorly spelling

As for the Argus comments not being moderated ... think again.

I left the following comment on the Police Chase Victim Named

quote:
It is indeed a tragedy when a thoughtless act of stupidity causes the death of a human being.

I am more incensed by the misleading headline though. The Police chase did not kill anyone. The death was as a direct consequence of voluntarily entering a car compounded by the drivers failure to stop.

It has been removed but other far more insensitive and very nasty comments have been left unmoderated. Hey hop!

So we can assume that LTNS would be happy with an electrican who put thw wires on the wrong terminals.

Or a cook who overdid the rosemary in a pasty...

No sweetpea ... my case is that the Argus is quite happy for all sorts of drivel to appear on their commentary, including some very nasty comments and highly inflammatory posts but heaven forbid one post should criticise the Argus' choice of headline

What on earth is this? Since when did apprenticeships in electrics entail going off to the Falklands, far from any pasties?

Or maybe the Argus is just trying to empathise with its readership

This should make LTNS - if not the Argus - use the semi-colon.

I see that LTNS is giving us a glimpse of his clothes sense.

I suspect that after most purchases from Gregss his brain hurts.

The Argus here writes the "Highways Agency were" instead of "was".

The Argus here writes "lightening" when it means "lightning".

People don't like to buy papers when care has not been taken over the production.

The Argus here writes "coowner", which is unpronounceable, instead of co-owner.

Here - in an article on education! - the Argus puts "principle" when it means "principal"...

Infinite I think the Argus may be right. Principle is being used as an adjective.
