I lost the link for this site and it has taken me ages to find it again. I agree that this forum will die if it is not easy to find.
What has been happening? I moved from Brighton a month ago....not sure if I miss it yet. |

I wouldn't worry too much. There's a lull of some kind or other on almost every forum I visit at the moment.
Perhaps the forum could rethink how it presents itself to search engines?
Any forum is like a bath being run with the taps on and the plug out, though.
Those who post on other forums could link to this in their signature, and add it in email signatures. |

I`d say a better analogy (if we stick with the Plumbing theme) would be we only have one tap running, ie less input. As for the `Water is Dirty` bit, I`m flummoxed. Unless you mean Muddied by confusion...? |

Ok I get it, if the plumber makes all pipe fittings to the left, the plumber is Labour; and if to the right, Tory? I think I prefer a middle of the road plumber…someone who will make the connection with the smallest amount of pipe. Same is true of politicians I guess… |

| I thought I'd have a look at the Argus Forums. They certainly have an impressive membership list with a total of 56 pages amounting to 2769 member. The new format came on line about a week after livewire went live. The highest number of posts by any one member is 69. Fifty plus pages full of members have never made a single post and you don't see the post count going up to double digits till almost at the end of the list with only 25 posters out of 2769 making more then 9 posts during the lifetime of that forum. |
